Thanks for elaborating on the topic. I understand everyones POV better but I guess it is going to be an "agree to disagre" thing. I just never knew there was a stigma until recently. Gosh I hope I didn't put too much pressure on you to be fancy...but you pushed me more to make videos...the circle of blog life. Lol
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe people are going in so hard over this topic. Girl, yes. I really need to find time to sit down and make these videos look better. I like my logo and website screen in the beginning but I could def step it up a little.
DeleteI used to read a lot of posts on the mom blogger title. I would love the title. I don't think it boxes you in because being a mom basically encircles everything; from fashion, cooking, love, the kids, and anything else.
ReplyDeleteI agree. When you're a mother you still care about ALL the things you mentioned. Mainly because you're the main person in your house doing the shopping for clothes, food and things that your kids and husband need. If I felt like that part of what I do was worth sharing I would share it but I would still consider myself a Mom Blogger.

In other news, I'm not offended by the term "mommy blogger" at all. I'll be a mother, so what other type of blogger would I be? Nonetheless, I consider my blog a lifestyle blog, because I like to blog about everything. Like, you I keep certain parts of my life private, and those things I choose not to share on my blog. It doesn't mean that it takes me out of the category of having a lifestyle blog. Plus, it allows me to join a plethora or networks and connect with pretty much anyone in any niche.

It's okay! You can link up your YouTube videos too! I agree. I think the term Mom Blogger encompasses so many other topics.
