Spring & Summer Daily Beauty Routine

Hot weather season is here. I'm not sure that it was ever cold weather season here in Texas but it is officially time for tank tops, shorts and sleeveless dresses. I'm excited!

For a lot of Moms this time of year makes them cringe. With all the outdoor and water related play that's sure to fill up our schedules we know that those type of dates involve lots of skin exposure. Bathing suit season is upon us, ladies. I’ve partnered with Dove to tell you all about their New Dove Dry Oil Collection featuring their Dove Dry Oil Beauty Bar and Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash.

I use both of these products in my daily beauty routine to keep my skin looking and feeling great during Spring and Summer. My daily beauty routine is quick, easy and it keeps me ready for days at the pool with my kids.

A shower in the morning does wonders for me. It gives me time to think and prepare for the day. That quiet time in the morning is very important to me. Makeup Bag Must Haves For Busy Moms

I certainly do not wear makeup everyday. I normally work out in the mornings after dropping Savannah off at school and before starting on my cleaning for the day and neither one of those activities call for a face that's beat.

But when I do have errands to run or places to be I like to put on real clothes and a little makeup. Since I don't have much time to myself in the mornings I do what I like to call a two minute face.

My makeup look is a little concealer (or more if my skin is trippin'), a little foundation and a little blush. I give my eyebrows some color and depending on the day I might put on some eye shadow. I toss my lipstick or lipgloss in my purse and boom - I'm ready. So easy. So fast.

Influenster Beauty Blogger VoxBox

You may have seen me celebrating my acceptance into the Influenster BeautyBlogger VoxBox on all of our social media sites. I was so happy when I got home from the grocery store this afternoon and found the box at my doorstep. Instead of rushing and opening it (like I wanted to) I thought it would be nice to open it with you all. So here is my very first (and best attempt) at a video post. I hope you all enjoy it! Let me know what you think. Have you heard of or tried any of these products? I must say I'm a little intimidated by the eyelashes, LOL!

I'm not sure why but making this video made me feel like a "real" blogger for some reason.
